What I'm Building

This site is my public workshop where I build, test, and document projects that sit at the intersection of software engineering, creative communities, and emerging technologies.

I'm pursuing multiple ventures simultaneously, each exploring different aspects of how technology can serve creators and communities.

For a complete list visit my Projects Page.

Why This Site Exists

To work in public. Each project page documents the journey, concepts, architecture decisions, challenges, pivots. This isn't polished marketing - it's the actual work.

To get feedback early. I'm putting ideas out while they're still rough because early criticism makes better products.

To build community before products. If any of these resonate with you, sign up for updates. The best projects emerge from conversations with people who care about the problems being solved.

Why I'm Doing This

I'm a software engineer who spent nearly three decades building apps for local businesses and enterprise's using complex data, cloud architectures, services, API's, and much more. Some of these systems serve millions of requests per hour and are essential services for my local community. I've managed teams, lead the architecture, managed projects, and created tools that became organizational standards.

I'm also a musician who released several albums, designed digital art, built successful artist promotion services on Twitter (grew to ~100k followers) and ran playlist and artist spotlight threads generating millions of impressions and link clicks. I connected thousands of artists to audiences and watched communities form around our collective shared struggles.

Over time platforms change, economic needs shift, AI reshapes what we think is possible, and the needs and concerns of creators change and grow through all that. The fundamental problems of artist discovery, fair attribution, sustainable growth, actual real income from your chosen craft, and the need for a community of like minded people, still have no practical answers.

So I'm building solutions using my 30 years of software experience and 5 years of community-building lessons. Starting small, iterating publicly, protecting what matters.

What to Expect

Updates will be irregular but genuine. Projects will evolve, pivot, or die based on what I learn. Some will ship, some won't. All will be documented here.
